Need wallpaper help, Samsung Moment

I am running open home on my Samsung Moment and need to know the size wallpaper I should be using. I tried 640x480 and it is stretched & pixld to hel and back. I just want to make a few simple wallpapers for personal use. Thanks for any help. Here is the pic I want to use:

i used a 640x480 and dont have any problem with mine. more than likely it is because your pixels of the desired picture aren't proportioned when you scale it back.
try this. edit in paint and take it down to 640 x whatever it makes you when you keep the proportions exact. then crop down to 640 x 480 and presto you will have a beautiful wallpaper.

are you stretching the crop box to use the entire image?
