What is with the neglecting of Official apps by the developers?
Facebook is a obvious example. The Android version of Facebook is nowhere near as polished as the iPhone and Blackberry equivalent.
The official Twitter app on the Desire is nice and colourful. However, it lacks customisation and doesn't have anywhere near the features of Twicca or a.n.other app.
I've recently installed Twicca and while it's not as pretty as the official Twitter app, the level of customisation is a lot better.
With Twicca I can do the following.
Quote and Retweet at the same time.
Automatically tweet longer than the 140 character limit
And a lot, lot more.
The two basic examples above should surely come as standard with an official app?
