I gave the NES emulator a try yesterday and it plays great. Audio even works. "Nesoid"

The app is free and it comes with Chip and Dale, but if you pay $1.99 you can get the unlocked version which allows you to play any or all of your NES roms.

Just curious if Android works like windows...

I emailed myself some .nes files but Android didn't know what they were so I couldn't download them, they were shown as attachments but unusable.

If I installed Nesoid, would it tell Android .nes are associated with this app and allow me to install them via email?

probably

or if you get a file manager, i think linda does this for sure, it does the same thing

With Nesoid installed.

I just emailed my self an uncompressed .nes file meaning a rom not in the zip file and well I could't do anything with it nor the zipped file.

Looks like you just have to do it the old fashion way and copy it to the SD card.

there's an app called "download crutch" that should allow you to download anything.

Well...download crutch seems to work from the web, but not from gmail. At least after downloading DLC and visiting gmail the "download" button is still missing next to .nes files.

This app will be draining my battery for months to come I have over 50 nes roms on my G1!!! They all work good so far. Audio distorts and it lags sometimes a bit, but overall GREAT APP!!
