Netbook hookup to Moniter

So I thought about following a common idea that I have heard some people talking about. I want to get a net-book and be able to hook it up to a nice sized monitor at home with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I did a little quick research before posting this and came to a conclusion Asus Eee PC 1015PE seems to be a good net-book for its price. Any other suggestions would be great. Now for my intended questions for this thread, is it really worth it? What Monitor should I get that's not too small? Will it be full screen and whats the best cable for this project. Thanks for the help guys!

the problem you are going to have is the video card in the netbook. The netbooks video cards are severly limited, so dont expect to get very good/large widescreen support out of it.
