netflix from galaxy 2 tablet to tv

I have the same question, for Evo to computer monitor. Trying to export video feed while streaming Netflix and NFL Sunday Ticket to computer monitor.

I'm thinking it's some sort of restriction or DRM in the mobile Netflix app. Maybe it's intended for mobile use only, not for a TV or monitor? Hollywood is terrified that you might capture and record the video output?

I have doubts it is a DRM issue. I used a MHL adapter on my SII. I could watch Netfix on my tv. With my SIII the MHL does not work. They changed pin config.

I can order a new MHL for the SIII. I have not yet so can't speak from experience if it works.

SII Tablet is more like the SIII?

In my readings I will say Samsung is not much of a "brain trust" on this subject.

If anyone wants to pop the cork on a SIII MHL connector. Let us know if it works.

very easy if you had a HDMI port like many tablets, my Eken china tab has one. picked up a HDMI to RCA/VGA cable to make mine more then useful on any TV, I can now use an old computer monitor with it.

My bionic does just fine playing netflix through our hdtv.

Sounds like a hardware/software thing on your device.
