netflix help

not sure if this is even a netflix question.

the device is lg optimus G running cm 11. i use it solely as a media device.

this issue is that netflix loads up, and sound is fine, but the video always is fragmented, sort of like watching a picasso live wallpaper.:)

i'm figuring i have a resolution conflict, but have zero idea how to fix. i've fiddled around in phone settings, and i'm not seeing any settings in all within the netflix app which touch on the issue.

i'm not particularly anxious to go to a prior version of netflix which would solve the problem, i think. and i'm not anxious to flash a different rom.

any help is appreciated.
 
If by fragmented you mean the picture looks like a bunch of little squares, that is called tiling. You normally see that as a byproduct of over compressed video, but it could also be caused by a slow connection to the server. Are you using WiFi or cellular data? What is your download speed?
