Netflix on android

Hello everyone.

I do know that netflix announced its streaming features "on selected Andorid phones", but I can't seem to find an actual list of android phones that do support it.

This summer I have an upgrade comming and I wanted to pick AT&T's android that does support netflix streaming. Is there such a list anywhere?

Given that the phone would, at minimum, have to support "full Flash" (i.e. Froyo 2.2 and above) I cannot imagine that the list would be very long.
 
At this point we don't know much about the devices that are available for Netfilx steaming yet. I spoke with a friend that works at Netflix and he said that it will be VERY limited in the beginning, and that they do not have a production app as of yet due to DRM issues and the worry of piracy using Android devices.

Therefore I cannot advise on which phone to consider. I would imagine that AT&T will want to push this ability to the Atrix more then anything out right now but by no means does that mean that they will.

This prototype LG Revolution may be the only Android phone actually capable of streaming Netflix at the moment, but there's nothing keeping you from giving it a go -- some enterprising hacker extracted a full system dump from the Revolution this week, tossed it to AndroidSPIN, and @al3xevolved subsequently pulled out the juicy Netflix innards. The app's APK is now freely available on the web, though we'll warn you that it isn't good for much -- you can browse and add items to your queue, but should you try to play a video the app will inform you that it "could not reach the Netflix service." The question is, will Netflix simply flip a switch to turn streaming on, or is it waiting for DRM authentication from a Qualcomm MSM8655 processor?
