Network is not working

I put my G1 phone sim card in my old blackberry because the g1 wouldn't pick up any of the gprs or edge signal. Bam, my bb is detecting network signals while g1 wasn't. Any ideas?

Well, the problem is I cannot get SMS messages because g1 will not find any network (GPRS or Edge). I am only limited to Wifi network which is not UMA like I had with my Blackberry 8320.

I am getting annoyed because today I switched my sim on g1 phone to my blackberry...the blackberry detected and went on the GPRS in where g1 wouldn't.

So I am calling Tmobile right now to settle the issue.

I hope it is a sim card thing or g1 network isnt really up to speed.
