Hello guyz.. Im having huawei g700. In that, when use network mode, the network gets connected to both GSM and WCDMA when i opt Auto mode. And when i select GSM only, it connects to GSM network. No problem... But when i select WCDMA only, it does not connect to 3 G network.

When i select auto mode , it cobnects to both 3g and 2g, but when i select 3g only, it does not connect.. Plz help me ..

Odd, because obviously it ought to work. How about "WCDMA preferred"?

I'm not 100% sure what the advantage of WCDMA-only is though: in auto the phone will use 3G if available, only falling back to 2G if there is no 3G cover, so all that selecting WCDMA only will do is mean that you lose coverage completely rather than falling back to 2G. Maybe it will reconnect to 3G slightly quicker if it can't use 2G, but I think I'd rather remain connected.

Sir, i used WCDMA Preferred..... I mentioned earlier...
Sir, now when i switched this option, it connected after a long time!
Thanx for ur support!

I have both, though since "auto" selects WCDMA out of preference I'm not sure why I have both. My best guess is that auto would prefer LTE if available, whereas WCDMA preferred would favour 3G, but since I don't have LTE on my account at the moment auto and WCDMA preferred do the same thing.

If your phone doesn't have LTE then that might explain why you don't have "WCDMA preferred", just auto/wcdma/gsm.
