Network Spoofer question

Is an app that lets you change wifi settings on computers connected to your same wifi connection. So my question is, is there a way of them knowing my IP did the spoofing? Would using Tor on that application help to not get cought?

I'm pretty positive use of this app is illegal and even if it isn't, it's most certainly immoral and not something I'm comfortable discussing on AF. As a consequence, I'm locking this thread.

If you can convince me other wise and believe that this app has legitimate, non malicious uses, feel free to drop me a PM.
