New Addition to Family

Have you got a name for the kitten yet? My sister calls her kitten Edwina Scissorhands, she gets playful with those sharp claws sometimes, lol

Thanks. I named the cat we had before so it was my wifes turn. She likes Cali (Pronounced: Cal-E) I just threw that vid together quickly to show her to our remote friends and family.

She's definitely claimed the house as hers. She didn't want to know anything about any bed thing on the floor with blankets and a clock in it. She slept either between or on my wife or me all night. She really did well and only cried a couple of times but settled right back down. Eating, drinking, and pottying (in the right place even). :D

She's definitely a people kitty. When she's not exploring the house she wants to be close/on one of us. She already screwed up my laptop setting royally by walking/sitting on the keyboard, probably because of the light, movement and warmth. She's too cute for her own good.

Vet appt Monday morning which she probably won't appreciate a whole lot.

Thanks. I was just being lazy - very busy evening last night. ;) She's not impressed with my laptop usage. It cuts into her laptime. Happy kitty. My wife's happy too, which is always a good thing. :D

She's going to lead a charmed life, and I think she's figured that out already. ;)

Nice, looks like she is settling in quite well.

Here is how to embed the video. Quote my post and you can see it.:)

She is so cute! ok my huge cat oliver is trying to sit on my shoulders/head and now he is about to pounce on my keyboard!
I like Cali! I had a Calico growing up...her name was Ralph:rolleyes: but I always called here Nin. No idea why..

anyway

Congrats!!! she is very cute!!:):)

I thought Cali was somewhat of an obvious choice but I wasn't gonna argue... her turn. I'da picked something else... but that's just between you and me. ;)

Quickly taking ownership of the house, thanks for asking. ;-) When we got her at 7 1/2 weeks she weighed 1 lb 2 oz. We weighed her 2 weeks later and she was at 1 lb 11 oz. Been to the vets and wormed, de-flead, first distemper shot and general checkup - so far so good except she peed on our bed - twice so she's relegated to sleeping in the office. They are the ONLY two times she's gone anywhere outside of her box so we'll see what happens there.

Yes she is. I'll have to see if I can get pics of her in kind of the same positions for perspective but this one may give an idea of how much
