New and "improved" Twitter

It now shows pictures automatically, no more having to click on the link. I don't like it. Makes my feed long and clunky. Just because I follow someone doesn't mean I want to see all the pictures they tweet. I wish there was a way to turn it off.
The thing I really love about Twitter is how condensed it is. Errr, was. :mad:
I certainly won't be updating the app; really, really don't want it on my phone.

I hate that I can't find a twitter that does everything. I hate that twitter take you to your browser for some pics.
echofon you can't see replies and Falcon so far seems best All rounder but when you follow someone it don't show you similars and you can't view people's pictures when you go to their profile.
 
The update notes on the app do say you can turn that off. It's getting terrible reviews though.
I found nothing online in settings to make it stop on the site. Hate it. ugh
 
I've been liking Plume, and you can turn on/off the image previews (I actually like the previews). Been using it since TweetDeck died.
 
I also like the previews just hate on the normal one Instagram pics don't show but think that's my only gripe with that tag now
 
I haven't updated the app and I'm not going to unless it really can be turned off and there are no other stupid annoyances. I'll look at the other ones mentioned too.

I just don't like this new look at all. I use Twitter because it's NOT full of pictures and videos (unless you click them) unlike FB and G+. I just want text feeds and the option to view a picture. I use it because it's not FB. I want to be able to turn the preview off online.
