New and Need Help w/ my HTC Eris

ok i have 2.1 leaked version on my phone .. hboot-1.49.0000 and s-on .. trying to find out if i have screwed myself and will be unable to root .. and if so, is there any way that i can take it off, put on a rooted version of 2.1 and then root the phone??? any help is greatly appreciated .. thanks!

that answer (for now) is yes you screwed yourself....... there is currently no way to root 2.1 with 1.49

there is also no way to rollback a leak..... your best bet is to keep your fingers crossed that eris gets froyo (also not likely)

Im in the same boat and I currently have no apps unless I get a WIFI.

Yes you screwed yourself. The phone should have gotten the official 2.1 update though.
