NEW Android phone user member

Hi; I have a ZTE Blade III android smartphone running ICS 4.0.4

Having a problem since yesterday - only 'phone' is appearing in the favorites tray. MISSING is People, the 'All Apps' widget icon, Messages and Browser.

I have tried BUT can't re-instate these icons / apps into the favorite tray. In fact I can't see most of my apps, only the one's on my home screen.

FRUSTRATED !!
