Yes, nothing worse than a stupid newby! Need a little help, p0lease. Want to use my android tablet as Satnav- can this be done, and if so, how, please

Hi Kimig. Don't worry about being inexperienced with Android or the forums, that's what we get the big bucks for (I'd really prefer money seeing as all these deer they keep sending me are making a mess in the garden )

It would be helpful to know the model and Android version of your tablet, but I am going to assume it has a GPS antenna as most do these day. It is possible to use a tablet for navigation, but with the free Google navigator, you need a constant data source to download maps on the fly. There are some paid apps that include maps that will work without a data connection Like Copilot.
