Help New annoying bell sound.

My Samsung S5 has just started making a bicycle bell ringing sound every few minutes. I have searched all of my notification and sound setting, but I can't find it.

Go to settings>accessibility and check on Unread notification reminder, turn it off if it's on.

It was already set to OFF, but I turned it on and then off just to be sure. Any other suggestions?

that has always been the case on my S5 phones, and my Note 4.

somehow, the CPU gets confused, and you just need to toggle it on/off and it will be fixed.
