New battery power cycling question

hi i have a Question i bought a zerolemon.com9000mah LG G3 Battery now it says it needs to be powered cycled 6 times after an inital 12hr charge

what my question is - can i have the phone powered on during the first 6 power cycling charges ????

That sounds excessive to me. I would think it would be fine to have the phone on (will charge slightly slower), but I wouldn't recommend playing intensive games (heat from charging plus heat from activity would not be an ideal recipe).
