Help New D Turbo for Xmas - If I return on Jan 15, will the phone build be better?

General question. I bought Droid Turbo on Xmas eve. Great phone...but phone call volume is not good (well documented). My Question: If I return by Jan 15, is it likely that a 'new batch' from Motorola will have different/better build specs - specifically a better speaker?

I don't see how you could possibly know if the problem is corrected until you try the new unit.

I understand. The question is really more general 'do identical Phones sometimes have different build quality with later manufacture dates?'. My 'trial' is up Jan 15....so I don't want to use that up. I need to either exchange or return the phone.

Sometimes manufacturers make running production changes to correct defects, yes. But IDK how you could tell if such a change has been made in production or if an exchange unit was produced before or after any such change.

Yep...that's the problem. Thanks for the advice CrashDamage. In dealing with Verizon, especially tough. I am probably going to return within 'trial' and wait a few months to watch this forum to see if problem is resolved. Thanks.
