Hey guys I am wanting to create an app that will change my ring tone based on what in my calendar but have no idea where to start or if an app like this exists already.

Hi,

For a general introduction, I would start here. I'm not sure about setting the system ringtone (getting is much easier), but I found through some googling this for the calendar. I haven't tried it however, so it might not work.
