new droid eris user need theme help

I just got the Eris last month and I have been looking for new themes or wallpapers. I dont know what rooting is so thats not done. I have seen things like open home and gde but when I go to purchase them I see that it reguires access to make phone calls and I dont want my phone to be making random calls. Is there a way to install new themes without one of those? Im looking for a mustang theme really. Also do the make live wallpapers for the Eris?

Welcome to AF!

Don't worry about that permission for those apps , they are trusted and may require them to run. You don't need root for these either.

Another home replacement app I would recommend is home++ , Give it a try

Are you just trying to change the Wallpaper? If so, you dont need a home replacement for that.

No I got the wallpaper down kinda but open home has a mustang theme that turns the icons into the running horse design. I found it on android-faqs.com but I can't get it to work on my Eris. I have pandahome download and running on my phone now.
