new E15 ethanol gas for cars.. what are your thoughts?

I noticed for the first time this weekend at the local gas station.. QuikTrip in Ft. Worth Texas.
there was a sign for .. Unleaded Ethanol E15...

it was only $2.07 vs.. Normal Unleaded low grade for $2.14
so this is very brand new to me.. never even heard of it...
did a quick search .. and only got very confusing info... GOOD and BAD effects..

Only newer cars can use it... 2001 or newer.. and some might still have issues.
void warranties... read your manual or call your dealer.

it is good for the environment... it add 15% bio fuel (Ethanol) to the gas).
MOST Normal Gas has 10%... (i did not know this) .. so this is only 5% more!

it burns cooler... i could not find how much cooler.. might be 1 degree! :P

but it is NOT as powerful as normal gas.. so it losses 1% to 2 % in power.
this would translate to less MPG.. so over all change.. better for the environment.

my car is 2016...
i need to make sure it is OK to use...
if my car is certified.. i guess i will. still hesitant.

what are your thoughts? what have your heard.. or can verify???
MPG ?????
cost ????
damage????

FYI.. this is my sister's car.. that is why i dont know all the details.

but going to the car's website... I found it is the:
1.4L Turbo!.. it does recommend 91 octane... Premium gas
but also says that it can take E15.

that is very odd... because E15 does not have a high Octane (91) rating....
it might be .. mid-range like 88.. or Standard gas...

now that i know that... 1.4 L turbo engine...
i am looking at Premium gas at $2.64 / gal
or E15 at $2.07 / gal

then there is the performance loss.. and MPG loss...
is it worth it?

Sometimes those recommendations are on the inside of the gas refill plate.. Had a Dodge Daytona like that. And YES, 91 octane is recommended (I say Necessary) to keep all sensors in the right ranges.. Not counting having to replace injectors @ $75+/each cuz they gummed up from the ethanol. Changing out injects not a big deal? Try dropping an O-ring inside the motor while changing them out.. Lol
