New email notification goes away before I check my email...!

Hello All;

Yesterday I installed in my SGS2 the k9 mail app in order to push emial.

I works great BUT when I receive the new email notification in the status bar in just goes away after few minutes even before I check the email.

When I check the email for the first time it appears as red.

Can someone give me a tip on how the have the notification stay until I check the email.

I'm not familiar with that phone or app, but I can tell you I use a free app called Light Flow to control the notifications via the LED. It also has controls for the status bar. Maybe worth a try
