New Facebook mobile bug

Ever since I upgraded to the new facebook app 1.5.3, the auto fill (predictive text) doesn't work on status updates. It works fine when commenting on posts.

I uninstalled the app and the predictive text worked fine. I reinstalled and no good. Anyone else having this issue?
