Welcome to our 19th release, FrostWire for Android 0.4.6.
If you have not yet downloaded the installer, head now with your Android phone to FrostWire for Android - FrostWire.com
Most of the fixes on this one are internal optimizations, still
there's lots of tiny detail, changes and new things you will notice if
you like to explore the application. (see full changelog below for more details)
After a week of testing and running the application for over 48 hours non stop without a single "Force Close" we believe the "alpha" tag is starting to feel a little old. You let us know if it's safe to call it now a "beta".
We're starting to draft the UI on FrostWire for Desktop so that we can
move to ForstWire for Android 0.5.1 soon, and to give you a way to
copy lots of files from your computer to your phone and viceversa without a USB cable.
Next time you open FrostWire you should get the message once it's
finished downloading the latest upgrade. We had no issues with the
icon on our android desktop, let's hope this time some of you won't
have to grab the icon back from your app drawer.
Again, we need all the support we can get from you guys before we
pull the trigger on the Android Market. The more people connected to
the network before we go to Market the more useful it'll be for the
regular joes.
We'll be creating lots of media to share on youtube, lots of mini
tutorials to explain every little feature we've implemented. If you
are a blogger, please make sure you follow our twitter account
@frostwire, everything we release to the public will get announced
there first.
Let's hope you enjoy this release, a lot of hard loving work (and lack
of sleep) went on it.
