Just found this:

I bought the original speedforge the day it was released, but could never play it cuz of my galaxy...until yesterday . And i love it.

But this version looks pretty damn awesome. I just hope that the android version of speedforge extreme performs as well as the iphone version demo'd in the video (and isn't too expensive for us who have the old versions!). It would make me sad if the best android developer defected over to the iDump

Ye on their site they do say "much higher performance - smooth on old G1".

However what i dont know is whether we'll get motion blur or not as shown here.

How do you know if u run OpenGL ES 2.0 or 1.0??

Edit: Awww..i think OpenGL 2.0 is only for the iphone, so we won't be getting that cool motion blur effect that makes the graphics so much better :-(

I demo'd the original speedforge on my droid. It was very impressive graphically but i didn't like the controls. Seemed to over steer and understeer. Also the AI seemed very bad as I was lapping them while crashing into walls the whole time. Even still I appreciated everything that went into it. I'd purchase the new one if it handles better.
