Could someone explain how to line break while texting on factory stock X.

Also, anyone use different dialer and contacts then 4.4.

Use ExDialer. It also comes with a separate contacts app. Lots of features in the ExDialer app. Blows the stock dialer away. Also Handcent SMS app is the MUST HAVE SMS app. It also blows the default SMS app away.

I use Pixel Pro Phone dialer for my dialer and contacts and love it.

As for the line break, I guess it depends on the keyboard your using, I'm not using the stock one, so don't remember, but I am using Smart Keyboard Pro and I simply use the shift arrow key to line break.

Line breaks - don't know.

Phone app - I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.pixelrush&hl=en on all my phones. It is very robust.
