2008? I see that the most recent activity is last week...
Not sure what you were looking at, but unlikely to be anything from 2008 in a forum for a phone that came out last year.
I've got the same phone(actually Snapdragon China variant), having no problems here, and in fact I'm very happy with it.
What exactly are these "clitches"?

Hi, a couple of issues that happens all the time are: copy/paste does not copy only. Paste is good. But when I go to copy...i get so... upset because it won't copy. I'ved try undo and do again, tryed to replace word, had to copy link to Keep and then copy. 2nd problem: I am asked to enter code sent to text or email and the web site freezes and I miss alotted time to enter code. One time I had to shut my phone off 3x to be able to sign in. I have read google, often information is old and doesn't fit my phone. I also have 128GB extra storage. In Facebook I want copy name of a pattern, won't happen. I have to memorize it to put in the search window. So...frustrating in a $1, 200 smart...phone... Haahee

P.S. I am not mobile. So I have everything delivered. So can not go to phone store. Customer Service knows less than I do.
I need someone who has the time to work with me on-going. Maybe it is my fault and not phone. I have also tried the S-pen it will work sometimes not each time. I am out of breath. Haaaheeee
