My name is Rob.... I am new here. I have developed a few apps on ibuildapp. I can't say that I am competely satisfied with their service, but it's free, so what can you expect?? At any rate, looking forward to learning more and hopefully getting to the point where I can create apps on my own. Or find someone who can do it for me for a low cost.

First thing I need to accomplish from here is to root my phone so I can use a screenshot app for screenshots to submit my apps to Android Market.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Rob!

I don't know if the Admire is one of the Samsung phones that let's you take a screenshot without root, but on some if you press the home button and the power button at the same time, it will flash the screen and save it to your SD card. Worth a try, anyway.

The folks in Samsung Admire - Android Forums will know for sure.

Tried that... It didn't work. But thanks anyways for the suggestion. I will try to root my phone today when I get home.
