New Kyocera phone on Metro

Not too bad looking. Midrange, with comparable internal memory to the Motion (for the most part) and decent specs (certainly not Nexus 4 or 5 specs).

The first thing I thought of when I read that it was shock and water proof, was my wife. One of our young children still throws things and licks things when he gets a hold of them; and he lives to pick up her phone.

regardless, would suit someone who wants a rugged-ish smartphone thats waterproof, especially because thats what everyone else is trying to do.

Looks about like a F3 that's waterproof for $30 more. For some people waterproof And impact resistance are important.

it should be worth noting for any aspiring rom flashers the bootloader is locked and will never have a way of unlocking etc. so root is all you could hope for.

its designed to take a beating more or less lol, so that should help, I wish they would rugged-ize my note phones.

Yeah that's why I was thinking about it for him he seems to drop his phone all the time. They should do that for all phones.

The only think that might Really make a difference is front facing speakers like the One. No phone with any one little pissant speaker is gonna sound That good.


I'd rate my Spirit's sound as average. With a slight volume booster amp perfectly usable with just the phone speaker.


I listen to a fair amount of talk radio using the speaker, for music, a decent set of buds or travel cans solve All Other sound issues. (Both of mine are Sennsi's.)

I believe that they are talking about when you are talking on the phone and listening through the handset, not listening to music.

Both my Motion and Spirit have really clear calls on Metro CDMA.
