I just got an update to the new market. It looks pretty nice and it feels sleek. Its a totally different look and it somewhat reminds me of a windows phone, but I will upload pics as soon as I find a way to screen grab without being rooted.
 
I agree, looks pretty sleek but be warned, when it first updated it checked the box in all of my apps to update automatically, and then they all started updating. Luckily the updates I had been avoiding were pre-installed apps so I could uninstall them and then go in re-uncheck the box.

how did u update market? mine is still 2.3.6
 
If you don't have it yet, make sure you back up the current one (2.3.6?). I hate the new one (might be OK on a larger screen). I wish there was a way to keep it from updating itself. I uninstalled updates twice and installed 2.3.6. Saves 4-5 mb of space and looks better IMO.
