New Messenger App

I just side loaded the new messenger app that is coming with Lollipop. I have to say that I love it.

I've been a Hangouts proponent hoping that it would evolve into a better iMessage for more than a year now. It still feels Beta to me.

The new Messenger is so smooth and fast compared to Hangouts. I think I will be using it as my default messenger until Hangouts gets finished and more polished.

One of the coolest features of it is that changes colors with what people are wearing in their contact photos.

For those wondering where the Hangouts app is, it is currently not included in the new Messaging app. As mentioned previously, the app is used exclusively for SMS and MMS

U trying to take credit on what I post lok

It might be a unique comparative thing as I haven't noticed any lag on Hangouts (of course I haven't done the comparison, and I am probably not that sensitive to it honestly unless it is really bad).
