New N-10 and a HTC Thunderbolt tether ?

OR Droid

Newbie
So i bought my wife the a N-10. She has a HTC Thunderbolt, that is unlimited.
She wants to tether them, and cannot find a app to help.
So is there either a free app that does not time out or a low cost solution that will allow her to do this?
The other problem i am having is i have lost the password to our router, so she cant use the wifi at home. Any way of resetting the router somehow? I can provide make and model # tomorrow.
Thanks for any and all help.

FoxFi seems to be the app of choice for tethering if you don't have one built into your phone.
Just do a Google search for you router model and it will tell you how to reset it. Some have a button you need to hold in with a pen for about 10 seconds, but then you will need to set it up again.

Thank you for the replies.

The router is a Netgear WNR-2000. I just got into it this morning as we had house guests yesterday. She is trying what i think is the old PW that let me log into the router as the admin.
My next concern is we do have 2 computers, a TV, WII, and now her tablet all running through this router. Should i be looking for a more capable router that can host up to 6 devices including phones without bogging it down?

Sorry for the questions, i know just enough to get myself into trouble.

BTW she loves the tablet. Problem is we have kids and she has not had enough alone time to mess with it much due to the prying hands the have.

So from the my laptop upstairs and looking at the "Wireless Network properties" window, it is "shared", and is using WEP security. With all of the new stuff available ie WPA, WPA2, etc...So is this where i need to set up a new password for the wifi?

Turned off the security on the router and the tablet connected.
Now what level of security should i set the router to?
