New Netflix series (Hemlock Grove)

Are any of you watching the new series from Netflix called "Hemlock Grove?" It is a supernatural type thriller show about Werewolves, and other creatures. Apparently Netflix finished making all of the episodes and released them all at once. My family is enjoying this show quite a bit. It seems that the folks that have reviewed it so far either love it or hate it.
Just curious how may of you here are watching, and what you think of it.
Oh, and what the heck is an "upir?" (pronounced oopeer)

I just hope its not another series that is worth getting into to with no second season. I could be wrong but so far they have done just that twice.

Well, if that is the case, I hope that they answer all of this season's questions before the last episode.
