I just read about the tablet in the Google video being a totally different tablet not the Nexus 2 as people first speculated. So, does anyone think we still might get a new Nexus 7 this year? My brother wants a N7 but I told him last month about there being a N7 refresh this summer but now it looks like it won't be happening. If my Walmart had the Sero 7 Pro, I'd be all over that for him. What do you guys think?

I think we will, it's been rumoured about heavily enough for me to think that there's at least some truth in things.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago, rumors were they were going to announce a refreshed version of the Nexus tablet at Google I/O but never did so I went ahead and purchased the 16GB Nexus 7 at Office Depot for $199 plus tax. Ran home opened the box and pulled out the lovely tablet out of its packaging and boy did it feel good in the hand. Very solid almost too perfect and feels great being a 7'' tablet. The display is very bright crisp and vivid, a very snappy quad core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, vanilla Android Jellybean etc. I hardly even use my notebook computer now this thing is handy and will be holding on to my Nexus 7 for a long time.

yeah i have this thing about not liking Nvidia processors which is one reason i want to wait on a refresh because the rumor is that they will swap to Snapdragon
