New One X....quick question about memory

I don't have anything installed yet except what's on the phone. I just recieced it from fed ex and I currently have 9.93 gigs left. Does that sound right? Also is there any pre installed apps I can get rid of. Thanks!

Have you updated firmware yet, I remember reading that there was a problem with the memory displayed on the earlier firmware. I couldn't get rid of any of the preinstalled apps on mine... I hate that

You can't uninstall the preinstalled apps (without root), but you can deactivate them, in Settings, Apps ...

16GB storage = 10GB phone storage + 2GB for apps + 4GB OS.

Sorry mate, I didn't know they did a 16gb version as mine is 32gb, Harry is right it will be the OS and installed apps.

At&t only has a 16 gig. Most likely they'll make a 32 gig so they can make more money off consumers. This business is all about money.

The international version of the One X has 32GB, the AT&T version has 16GB.
