New OTA Rolling out (16664)

A new OTA is rolling out now/imminently with build number 16664.

It's meant to bring the usual bugs and stability fixes (not sure what the deal is with that, chromecast is the stablest device I own), DNS improvements, improved IPV6 support and it will now retain volume levels across sessions.

Basically, if your TV is at full volume, you won't deafen yourself when you start casting something to your TV (provided chromecast wasn't at full volume previously).

Great! I was always annoyed that it started out at top volume and always had to quickly/immediately drop the volume way down.

Hope I see that update soon.

Yep, same here. It's caught me out loads of times.

Typically how long do these OTAs take to get to everyone? Any way to force update? I see I'm still on 16041.

Haven't received this update yet on mine. Looking forward to further software improvements in the future.

I've had connection problems since the update.

Rebooted, hope it fixes it.
