So, I saw that there was a new ota update for this iteration of the note 3 on SamMobile.com. disappointingly, it is still only on Android 5, but it was released this year... Curious, for a company famous for ignoring phones after 90 days from release.
For what its worth, my current built seems to be listed with a bootloader/baseband of oc3. Does this have something to do with that bug that reportedly affects modems and Bluetooth chips? If so, I suppose it would be prudent to get that update flashed, but the question is...how?
Like right now, I'm on resurrection remix ROM v5.8.2, and Samsung's flashing pretty much wipes out custom recovery and the like. So, since I've since switched PCs, and operating systems, since I last did an ota update, I guess I need a game plan on how to update it and then get black to custom ROM goodness, unless there is a way to just flash the updated baseband and continue using custom ROM anyway?
Figure I ask here before I do something dumb, and - worst case - am locked out or bricked.
