Ok, so its been a while since I did this sort of forum and I was expecting one long thread.
Anyway, I have been using Android since .... well when was it launched?
Started with it by default because I liked a Pantech model better than the earliest Steve Job's offering and I've been using it ever since. Tried Windows once and wanted to use a sledge hammer on it after about an hour, so I returned the phone. Since Android seems to be holding on well enough, I have finally gotten over the dread of being dragged kicking and screaming into Iphones, like I was forced into Microsoft in the '80s.
I have been through a few Pantech models, one early HTC that lasted about 72 hours, several Samsungs (last one being the Blackjack II) and currently using a Sharp FX. Not the fanciest phone around, but not bad, and it was a free exchange when the BJ2 kept wiping out its memory every few weeks.
Not really a techie sort of geek, just a survivalist.
