New phone, new account, where's the old account info?

I had a CDMA phone with Cricket. I just got a 4G phone through Cricket. I kept the same phone number. I had to make a new account on Cricket Wireless for the new phone.

My login name for both accounts is my phone number. I can log into my new account and see my info, but what happened to my old account with my old phone? Did it get shut down, or will I still continue being charged for it since it was set up with Autopay. I ask because there was never any termination confirmation of the old account.

Crickets customer service is very poor right now. Initially, I was charged twice for buying one phone through the Cricket website. When I called about it, I kept getting transferred to all different departments, and at one point, one guy said that I was calling the "Old Cricket", and needed to call the "New Cricket". The number he gave me was the number I had just called him on. When I informed him of it, he said that he didn't know what to do and just hung up on me. In the end, Cricket cancelled both charges, and I had to reorder the phone.

Yes, this has been an issue for a while with Aio/Cricket, I had the same issue about a year ago, I ended up talking to a supervisor who did exactly what you just mentioned, cancelled both orders and made me reorder. Sometimes this is the price we pay for cheaper service, it is expected IMO. Glad you got it worked out though, cheers

I also Merged your 2 threads together to keep the board clean, you can post all your issues on Cricket here, cheers.

I would call them and ask, which I'm sure you do not want to do with your last experience, you can also go online and chat and see where that takes you. For now it seems to be an issue, when being with the Old and now the New, Your account IMO should still be there, just call them and find out what happened to it.

I had same issue when I joined. And I agree crickets cs is very lacking but use this email

support@cricketwireless.zendesk.com

And contact them that way.. Local american support.. These are also the guys that manage their twitter account and can be very helpful. I always just email them now when I have an issue

Keep in mind they cannot help with technical issues but will pass your request up
