Help new phone please help

[Android Question]

So Im getting a new phone. I live in the usa and have att.
I think the biggest thing I want in a phone is good build. I want metal it doesnt haft to be full metal. Metal sides would be nice.
Decent camera.
Nice specs.
One thing I will not get is samsung or apple.
So if there are not any that att offers that fits my need. What are some phones unlocked I could get. China makes some nice metal phones. My budget for unlocked phones 350 $$ please help.

Splurge and go little over budget and get the Moto X (2nd generation). Terrific phone, metal chassis as you requested, near vanilla Lollipop 5.0 so it will get OS updates as quickly as a Nexus.

If you get a Chinese phone you're gonna have...well...a Chinese phone. Likely poor quality, poor customer support and little or no OS update support.

I'd suggest hitting the att store and getting a little hands on time with a few different models. Most ideas of good specs and good performance are subjective.

You won't be able to get it with an AT&T subsidy, but if I were you (and had your requirements), Id spring for a Google Play Edition HTC One M8. Outwardly, it will look like a standard M8 that you can see demo'd at AT&T stores or kiosks, but it will have the latest Google OS (w/o the carrier bloatware), and will be among the first to receive updates… direct from Google.
