I called in T-Mobile today to see what and how Project Dark would affect me.
I currently have:
2,000 minute family plan with unlimited nights and weekends, $99
Unlimited T-mo to T-mo
Unlimited txt, $10
2 data plans at $25 ea. = $50
Four total lines. $10 ea. add. line = $20
A month I spend $180 on phone services without taxes.

After calling the very friendly T-Mobile rep and hearing how their new pricing scheme would affect me and “help” me reduce my costs the rep told me based on my usage I would need the 1500 or Unlimited plans. With 2000 unlimited we sometimes hit 1,700 or 1,200 or even close to 2,000 a month. It really fluctuates between months and business.

So after advising her I would need the unlimited EVERYTHING PLUS.
2 Line with Unlimited data, voice and text is $140
2 lines with just voice is (30 ea.) $60.
My cost would be $200, which would be $20 more.

However, I had a 15% discount through my school, which would bring the price down to $170 + taxes a month.
Sadly, she told me since the plans are "so heavily discounted we can't give our customers any discounts."
This is pretty unfortunate because I'm looking at reducing my bill and getting the most out of it. I really do not need unlimited everything. However, based on their new pricing scheme and lack of flexibility on their new prices I’m forced to go with unlimited plans. For now I will stay with T-Mobile until I'm able to transfer my contract line. The other three expire next month.
