Root New rom

Hey guys I downloaded a rom in the zte vital section mobstergunz makes it all credit to him but it boots on our phone just have to swap boot image but the wifi doesnt work and camera won't connect maybe someone could play with it and get it working its in zte vital section called mobster rom all credit to mobstergunz

Any idea what it is based off of? Just curious.
 
I recommend getting permission before anyone goes modifying another developers rom.
 
Thats why I'm not posting the link or anything I was just letting everyone know that it does boot if swapped with our boot image so someone with a more talented mind can maybe get this optimized for our phone of course with permission

Edit: talked to mobstergunz and he gave permission to mess with this so guys anyone wanna take a stab at go right ahead just make sure you give credit to mobster for his part with the rom we will be porting
 
Anyone want to try SuperROM for the Max? I ported it from the Warp 4G SuperROM which is a very similar device. There are screenshots over there if you want to check it out.

stormer_SuperROM_v1.1.zip

If it does not work or there are too many issues, I will start working on a proper Max SuperROM. I figured if this one works I won't need to go through all the effort ;)

Make sure you make a backup first and wipe all data in cwm before flashing. I do not own a Max so it is untested. Let me know how it goes :)

Really? I figured you all would jump on the opportunity to get a custom rom. Since there is no interest here I guess I will move on to the next project ;)
 
So far it seems to run good. A few things I've noticed: WiFi doesn't work. And I would like to see the power control back in the notification drop down. Other than that its running smooth as pie. I love the white icons on the status bar as well. I will post as I find more bugs.

Wifi may be a problem. I already used the stormer prima module. I will tinker a bit but i may need to build it for stormer instead of port from the warplte. Bummer. Thanks for testing and the feedback :)
 
I had to reload my backup because I needed WiFi functionality. Once you tinker with it I'll be more than happy to test it. I'm excited to see a custom ROM for this device. I've actually been waiting since I got it.

Seems like you are the only one. Not sure if I am going to do it due to the lack of interest. I appreciate your help and will post if/when I build it :)

In all honesty I just wanna change the colors and/or icons in the status bar but I can somewhat use xposed for that. Trying to find a decent module for all of that. And every module ive tried can't change the signal bar colors or the 3g 4glte icons.

Have you tried the Xposed module GravityBox?
