New S7 Edge User; What do I Need to Know

So my wife and I took advantage of the BOGO S7 Edge deal at AT&T today and are now the proud owners of shiny new S7 Edges. Other than figuring out how the whole "edge" think works, what else do I need to know?

I read that the battery life is one of the strong suits, but so far I'm not seeing it (down about 5% in a half hour listening to podcasts over Bluetooth). Does it just take a couple of charge cycles to click in or are there batter adjustments I need to make from OOTB?

What else do I need to know? Enlighten me!

I always recommend friends to enlighten themselves by reading through forums like this before they buy a phone, but I guess the same advice can apply after you have made a purchase?

I don't use the edge panels much myself, but I love the edge. For me, the benefit is a larger screen on a phone that is not huge to accommodate. That, and I love the look/feel of it. It's an aesthetic thing for me. Battery life for me has been good. Charges quickly too. Love this phone.

Yeah. I don't find that super useful, plus, you don't really need an edge to pull that off. They could just incorporate a slide in panel from the right on any old flat screen and accomplish the same thing.

For me it's aesthetic. The functions they tried to bake into it are mostly gimmick Imogen. I would be shocked if statistics showed many out there using them. However, I like the form factor, and the screen is an amazing creation. Just beautiful.
