Help New S7 owner with a few questions

My wife picked up the S7 yesterday, she's generally impressed but there are a couple of things she's stuck with/doesn't like and I can't figure out if it's possible to change. Outwith a crappy little S3 Mini my employer gave me, I've not experience with Samsung so Touchwiz/Grace (whatever it's called now) is completely alien to me. Anyhoo, here are the biggest First World problems we're currently dealing with in the Presidente house -

1. Can you change the position of the app drawer icon from the right most icon in the dock to the centre? I'm guessing no, but if we need to switch to Nova to do this, that's not an issue.
2. Is there a way to put a direct dial/contact shortcut on the homescreen?
3. Is there a way to make Whatsapp/3rd Party notifications appear on the Always on Display? Currently it only shows a little icon for missed calls, text messages and emails (that I can see), but we use WhatsApp most of the time so it would be handy if we could get the WhatsApp Icon to display whenever she has a message.

1. You need a different launcher.
2. Yes. Add a direct dial widget to that contact.
3. So far no. Samsung put that in thr Note 7, and promised the S7 will get it in the Nougat update.
