Bought my first smart phone and love it. Just one problem today. It seems that the swipe feature used during typing has somehow been disabled just when I was getting the hang of it. Any suggestion?

welcome aboard vixg try going to your settings then language and keyboards and make sure you have your swype enable

Yea, as Mr said, really.

From home screen
Goto options (left softkey)
Select settings
Scroll down to language & input & select
Tap the gear icon to the right of Samsung Keyboard and on that list tap the "Keyboard Swype" tick box.

Or

Whenever you are some place with the keyboard up, drag your finger from the top of the screen downwards and you'll see the "select input method" notification. Tap that, and select "configure input methods"
