Not sure if this is a Samsung problem or Android. I have a Galaxy S5 with 6.0. Just had a 32GB SD card that became corrupted for some reason, even thought chkdsk /f finds no errors.
I installed a 128GB SD card and everything looked OK. I downloaded a ton of Amazon videos.
Problem started when I went in to Application Manager to see if I might want to move any apps to the SD card like I had done before. When I looked at Amazon Video it got stuck on "Calculating" since I had about 20GB of videos. When I went into the Storage menu it was stuck on "Checking...". I restarted the phone thinking it would stop checking but that didn't work.
Eventually it was done checking the SD card but the system didn't seem to recognize it was there. I couldn't move any apps to the SD card. The option wasn't even there. It went back to "Checking..." in the SD card section of the Storage menu.
Has this new SD card become corrupted like the last one?
EDIT: I thought this was fixed but no it's not. It seems to want to check the SD Card every time the phone reboots. I finally saw my movies in Amazon Video app that I downloaded to the SD card. But on next boot it was back to checking the SD card.
