New Snapchat effects????

So I downloaded an apk of Snapchat 9.15.0.0 since I was having a problem with the video recordings not recording properly (Really, this drove me mad) and then I realized I can't get the new effects that the latest version has...


Is there any way I can get the new effects? Or I'm stuck with the old ones?
