New Spare Parts in market

There's a new Spare Parts in the market (which for some reason has ads) that adds a couple of settings including setting the process manager to "Aggressive". Wondering what anyone else thinks of it.

I lol'd because I read the post as 'which for some reason has aids'

I haven't really found spare parts to be all that usefull. Why do developers insist on putting ads in their apps though? Does anyone actually click them? All the ones I've been seeing lately are about God and the bible or switching networks to an unnamed network! Awesome.

Ads make the market go round! Many of the apps are developed on a free/donate basis. If they gather enough interest they can make some money inserting ads. I personally don't have an issue with that as long as I have not paid for the app. Even developers need to eat. However if I paid for the app i don't want to see the ads. Just for the record I don't think I have ever intentionally clicked on an ad.

i dont ind the ads.. they have to get paid for there work somehow. either deals with the ads or cough up for the paid version

is the spare parts app just a mkt version of the spare parts that root users have attached to their rom images? or something entirely different?

Absolutely agree. If the app stays free at the expense of containing ads, so be it.

But does anyone have an experiences with the app they can share? I set the process manager to "aggressive" and the home screen seems to stutter a bit. Tough to tell but my battery might be better than before though.
