My phone is on Virgin Mobile USA. This might help some of you with internal storage issues. It removed about 700-800 MB of files internally for me.
I haven't experienced any issues yet. My phone is running more smoothly after the update, and appears to be using a little less memory (went from 1.6 GB to 1.4 GB). That's great, considering that I have way too many social media apps running at once. I might go to a web link for some of those apps via Chrome. That would further speed up the phone, as the web versions use much less data.
