Hello all, I'm new to Android and wondered if you could help? I got my G2 Touch (HTC Hero) last Wednesday and am having a few problems. I've trawled the site here and haven't found the answers so I thought I'd ask. 
Firstly, I'm having trouble synching.
I have Windows 7 and I've used the workaround with the latest version of HTC Synch to make it at least synch the contacts. I'm working on synching the calendar (I think I'm going to have to buy Outlook, but am exploring other options first), but is there a way of making it synch text messages too?
Secondly, the touchpad.
I have tried all versions of the touchpad for texting. I have large thumbs and by FAR the best is HTC's own 'normal' phonepad. I'm fastest by a LONG shot. However, when you select that, it is awful for web address inputs. There is an app I want, which I saw a video on YouTube of, called TouchPal. It is a paid for app and looks great. A quick sideswipe and it changes the input type etc. Perfect. But I can't find it on marketplace by searching OR manually going through every single item! (Yes, I need it that much!!) Is there anywhere else I can get it? It's not on the CooTek website, only Windows Mobile version. My only other option is to go into options every time I use the Internet. Far from ideal... Or does anyone on here have it to send me? Obviously, I will pay to register etc.
I'm sure there are a couple of other things I will need to ask!
